Japanese artist / Photographer. living and working in Germany.

 

Born in Yokohama, Japan. Since early childhood, He loved to investigate and devise things around himself and creating something new. He studied Graphic Design and contemporary art. At the same time, he  encountered the attraction of photography. This was the trigger to open his eyes to the very profound art and photography.

Images of How We Remember

Perception and Memory – these two ways of how people see the world have fascinated and inspired me throughout my life as an artist. In my artworks I aim to capture not an image of a thing itself but rather the inner image in the human mind.
The experiences, the anticipation and prejudice that create this image interest me. How do they influence what we see? And how do they shape what we remember?

In follow the way of memories: From the first moment, when the presets of our mind define what we believe to see and what we keep of it. Then, over the course of time, the fragmentation and fading of that image into something distant and different.

Using techniques of collage and experimental photography I try to recreate this process and the images on its way, an image of memory itself.
